SO16 is shaped by three big traffic generators we plan around daily: the University of Southampton’s Highfield Campus, Southampton General Hospital, and the Southampton Science Park at Chilworth on the northern fringe. Bassett itself is one of the city’s leafier suburbs along The Avenue (A33), the tree-lined approach in from the M3 — usually our fastest route to and from the motorway network for early flights.
