About cruise → airport transfers
How it works
Disembarkation slots are assigned by the cruise line, generally in short windows across the morning, though the exact structure and start time vary by ship and operator. We time the pickup to the later end of whichever slot you are given, so you walk straight off the ship into the car rather than waiting at the terminal with luggage. Ship arrival is tracked live; if the ship docks late, your driver's arrival adjusts automatically.
All four Southampton terminals
We collect from Ocean, City, Mayflower and Horizon terminals. Meet at the terminal exit with a name board; driver helps with luggage to the vehicle. Tell us your terminal at booking; our dispatch confirms which dock gate to use on disembarkation day.
Which airports we transfer to
Heathrow (LHR, ~1h 30m), Gatwick (LGW, ~1h 45m), Southampton Airport (SOU, 15 min), London City (LCY, ~2h 15m), Luton (LTN, ~2h), Stansted (STN, ~2h 30m), Bristol (BRS, ~2h), Birmingham (BHX, ~3h). Each is bookable with the cruise terminal pre-filled as your pickup. The Southampton Airport leg is the exception on price — it is short enough to carry the fixed airport-to-ship tariff rather than being quoted by distance, and the same figure applies in either direction.
Onward flight timing
We recommend booking a flight at least 4 hours after your cruise line's vacate time — enough buffer for disembarkation queues, the drive and check-in — and 5+ hours for a long-haul departure, where check-in closes earlier and immigration queues run longer. Those are guidance rather than guarantees, since vacate times vary by ship and operator. Tell us your flight and we will say if the plan looks too tight.
