Where it is
Hamble-le-Rice (SO31) is the UK's yachting capital — home to Hamble Point Marina, Port Hamble Marina, Mercury Yacht Harbour, MDL Hamble Point and Universal Marina. Surrounding villages: Bursledon, Old Bursledon, Park Gate, Locks Heath, Sarisbury Green. The Hamble River hosts regattas (Cowes Week feeder events, RYA training) throughout the season.
Where we go
Southampton city centre (25 minutes), the cruise port (30 minutes), Southampton Airport (SOU — 20 minutes), Heathrow (1h 40m), Gatwick (1h 55m). Yacht crew handover days (typically Saturday turnaround) are a regular booking pattern.
Pickup notes
SO31 is Zone B (£1.50 uplift). Marina-specific pickups handled by berth / pontoon number at booking. Bursledon railway station also covered for visiting crew arrivals.
