Southampton is the UK's busiest cruise port — 449 cruise ship calls and more than 3 million cruise passengers in 2025, according to port operator ABP. It has five cruise terminals: Ocean and QEII in the Eastern Docks, and City, Mayflower and Horizon in the Western Docks. Between them they handle Cunard, P&O Cruises, Princess, Royal Caribbean, MSC, Celebrity, Norwegian, Fred. Olsen and the other lines turning around here. The main terminals at a glance
Ocean Cruise Terminal (Berth 46/47, Eastern Docks, SO14 3QN) is the busiest of the five. QEII Cruise Terminal (Berth 38/39, Eastern Docks, SO14 3GG) sits close by and is a separate building from Horizon. City Cruise Terminal (Berth 101, Dock Gate 8, SO15 1HJ) and Mayflower Cruise Terminal (Berth 106, Dock Gate 10, SO15 1HQ) are in the Western Docks, and Horizon Cruise Terminal (Berth 102, West Bay Road, SO15 1AW), opened in 2021, is the port's newest. Ship-aware timing
On embarkation we time pickup so you arrive 30-60 minutes before your assigned check-in slot — early enough to skip the queue, late enough to avoid waiting around with luggage. On disembarkation, we track your ship's docking time live and adjust pickup automatically if it's delayed.
Compared to other options
