What "prebook" actually means
In the UK, to "prebook" (pre-book) a taxi means to arrange it ahead of time for a set date, time and price, instead of flagging one down or joining a rank on the day. You confirm the pickup point, destination, number of passengers and luggage in advance; we confirm the vehicle, the driver and a fixed all-in fare. Nothing is left to chance or to a meter on the day of travel.
Why prebook if you are coming from the US
