QEII Cruise Terminal — what to know
The terminal
The QEII Cruise Terminal is one of Southampton's older cruise terminals, at Berth 38/39 in the Eastern Docks (SO14 3GG), reached via Dock Gate 4 next to Ocean Cruise Terminal. It handles Cunard sailings and overflow turnarounds when Ocean Cruise Terminal is at capacity. Drop-off is at the terminal building forecourt. Note: QEII is not the same as Horizon — Horizon is a separate, newer terminal in the Western Docks.
How we work the route
For embarkation we time arrival to your check-in window (typically 11:00–14:30 based on your booking). For disembarkation we monitor the ship's arrival and coordinate the actual collection with you as you disembark — no additional waiting-time charge for disembarkation delays. Your driver meets you at the designated private hire pickup area, with a name board on request.

Most-booked pickup points for QEII embarkation: Southampton Central railway station, Grand Harbour Hotel, Premier Inn West Quay, voco Southampton, Southampton Airport (Parkway) and city-centre hotels in SO14/SO15. Long-distance customers from Winchester, Portsmouth, Salisbury, Bournemouth and London are booked daily.
