Lyndhurst to central Southampton is roughly 10 miles via the A35 — typically 20 to 30 minutes. Southampton Airport (SOU) is 25–35 minutes. Heathrow is 1h 35m via the M27/M3; Gatwick about 1h 50m.

SO43 is Zone C at £3 uplift on metered jobs. Fixed-price airport transfers from Lyndhurst are the same flat price as central Southampton — the zone uplift applies to metered local jobs only.
Local knowledge — the New Forest capital
Lyndhurst is the administrative heart of the New Forest — home to the Verderers’ Court, the New Forest Heritage Centre and St Michael and All Angels church, where Alice Liddell (the real-life Alice in Wonderland) is buried. The narrow one-way High Street and the A35 bottleneck through the village can add ten minutes on summer weekends, so for early flights we route via Ashurst to the M27 J3 to stay clear of it.
