Which marina this is
Hamble Point Marina is MDL's deep-water marina at the very mouth of the River Hamble on Southampton Water — the first marina you reach coming in from the Solent, off School Lane at the south end of Hamble-le-Rice (SO31 4JD). It has 24-hour access, a full boatyard and hoist, chandlery, the Hamble Point Café and several RYA sailing schools on site, so it draws racing and cruising crews all season.
Where we take you
Southampton city centre (about 25 minutes), the cruise terminals (about 30 minutes), Southampton Airport (SOU — about 20 minutes), Heathrow (roughly 1h 40m) and Gatwick (roughly 1h 55m). Saturday crew-handover days are our busiest pattern here.
Marina pickup notes
Hamble Point sits in the SO31 zone (£1.50 out-of-area uplift on metered jobs). Give us your pontoon / berth number or the marina office at booking and we meet at the gate or the boatyard car park — no wrong-gate guesswork.
