Stonehenge — private hire drop-off
About the destination
Stonehenge (Amesbury, Wiltshire, SP4 7DE) is one of the most iconic prehistoric monuments in the world — a UNESCO World Heritage Site built over 5,000 years ago. The visitor centre runs an audio-guided experience around the stone circle with a shuttle service from the gate. Allow 2–3 hours on site to walk the circle, see the exhibition and grab a coffee at the café.
The journey from Southampton
Around 40 miles / 50 minutes from central Southampton via the M27 and A303 — a comfortable Hampshire/Wiltshire drive past Salisbury. We collect from your address (hotel, home, cruise terminal) and drop you at the Stonehenge visitor centre entrance.
What is included
Private hire transfer in a saloon, estate or 8-seater MPV. Door-to-destination drop-off at the Stonehenge visitor centre. Fuel, all road costs included in the fixed online quote. Admission ticket to Stonehenge is booked separately by you with English Heritage.
Booking your return
We only handle the outbound drop-off as a one-way transfer. To get back to Southampton, book a separate return pickup from Stonehenge for whatever time suits your visit. Many guests pre-book both legs at the same time to lock in fixed prices on each direction.
